On the Cobalt closing...

Obviously, there are much bigger things to miss about the Cobalt closing tomorrow night, and needless to say, I will miss them. But sometimes, it’s also worth reflecting on the little things, and I have to say, I will miss rolling in on a Wednesday (or some other night when my drinking habits lean more towards quality than quantity) and being able to sip a couple of Mill St. Tankhouse Ales for $4 a pop to go with whatever metal/hardcore/atonal noise band drew me down there in the first place.

And while we’re on the subject of consumables, for the longest time, the Cobalt was also the only place in Canada to get the best jalapeno potato chips ever (via their vending machine - when I’m drunk, I get hungry, ok).
